Exploring Workplace Behaviours: From Bullying to Respect is a research report that contains key insights from research in two Victorian public sector organisations as well as practical tips for organisations.

The research findings suggest that employee perceptions of behaviours in the workplace are affected by the context in which the behaviour occurs.

Employees may be more likely to interpret disrespectful behaviour as bullying where there are lower levels of trust in the organisation. Strong values based leadership, creating conflict resilient workplaces and ensuring that performance management systems reward good behaviour not just good results, can improve trust.
