New version of conflict of interest e-Learning Guide
A new HTML version of the Conflict of Interest e-Learning Guide has been introduced to complement the existing download option. The format for either version of the e-Learning Guide is highly interactive. View the new version of the e-Learning Guide

New Occasional Papers

New code of conduct for Lobbyists
The Premier recently announced the Victorian Government Professional Lobbyist Code of Conduct. From 1 December 2009, a Lobbyist wishing to have contact with a “Government Representative” (which includes any person employed, contracted or engaged by a public sector agency) for the purposes of lobbying activities must be registered on the Register of Lobbyists. The Authority has released Welcome to Government - your introduction to working in the Victorian public sector. Welcome to Government is a reference guide that provides an overview of how government works in Victoria. The Guide is designed to assist and support public sector employees in doing their jobs. WACA documentation
The Workforce Analysis and Comparison Application (WACA) documentation on the Authority's website has been supplemented with a series of guides to assist public sector organisation convert their ASCO codes to ANZSCO codes. View the new documents and all the WACA documentation

VPS executive remuneration bands
The Premier approved a remuneration policy increase effective from 1 July 2009 of 2.5 per cent. This applies to all VPS and public sector executives. Public Administration Act 2004
The Public Administration Act 2004 was amended on 8 July 2009. The new Act incorporating these changes is now available across the Authority's website. View the newly amended Public Administration Act

Register of Instruments
The Authority is required to establish and maintain a Register of Instruments issued under the Public Administration Act 2004. The register has been updated with new and additional detailed information, including Orders issued by the Governor in Council since the introduction of the Public Administration Act 2004.
