The State Services Authority and Demos have produced a joint provocation paper on agile government

The State Services Authority has produced a joint provocation paper with Demos, the UK think tank, on the concept of agile government: Agile government - a provocation paper (PDFPDF 238KB).

This paper explores preliminary ideas about agility. The purpose of the paper is to generate ideas and provoke debate about how developing agility might equip government and the public sector to respond to new challenges in a changing world.

The paper does not represent Victorian Government policy.

An edited extract of the provocation paper was published in The Canberra Times lift-out, Public Sector Informant, on 2 October 2007.

Questions or comments on agility arising from the provocation paper can be directed to the State Services Authority

On 11 October 2007, the Authority and Demos hosted the Agile Government Roundtable, where Professor Geoff Gallop (University of Sydney and former Western Australian Premier) presented a paper entitled, Agile Government (PDFPDF 92KB).
