Attestations due...

Each year the Public Sector Standards Commissioner requests the heads of government departments and special bodies to attest to having policies and procedures that conform to the Gifts, Benefits and Hospitality Policy Framework.

The model attestation is on the Authority's website and is due by 31 October 2013. In addition, administrative units and public entities are required to make a similar attestation to their portfolio Secretary.

The Authority now provides a complete listing of organisations that are employers of Victorian public sector staff. This listing has been updated to reflect recent changes within the wider sector.

SSA wins International Award

The Executive Board of ARTDO (formerly Asian Regional Training and Development Organization) International has selected the State Services Authority to be the recipient of its 2013 Human Resource Development Excellence Award.

The award will be formally presented to the Authority during the 40th ARTDO International Leadership & HRD Conference to be held in Melbourne in April 2013.
